iPhone 5: Difference Between iPhone 4S and iPhone 5
Are you currently an owner of an older model of the iPhone or are you someone simply contemplating obtaining an iPhone. Now is the perfect time to switch to a new mobile phone. Apple released its newest version of the iPhone, the iPhone 5 this past September. People across the world are clamoring for the new device. However, are the changes enough to justify some people to ditch their iPhone 4S. When viewing all of the upgrades, most consumers will find enough justification to either upgrade or switch from another brand of mobile phone to the iPhone 5.
When the iphone 4s was released there were some battery issues associated with it. The latest model, the iPhone 5, was designed with upgrades in mind to prevent problems. The battery that comes with the iPhone 5 can offer users as many as 8 hours of internet browsing on a 3G network. When playing back video, the battery can support about 10 hours. This is the same as the iPhone 4S. However, the significant difference comes with standby mode. This is 225 hours with the iPhone 5 which is 25 more hours than what could be received with the iPhone 4S.
The connector that comes with the iPhone 5 has also been revamped. No longer does it come with 30 pins but has been streamlined to only have 8 pins. The connector is still reversible which permits devices to be plugged into it both ways. The new connector has been referred to as Lightning.
The display screen has been redone with the iPhone 5 as it now measures 4 inches in comparison to the iPhone 4S’s 3.5 inches. The iPhone also uses the Apple patented retina display. Wi-Fi capabilities have also been upgraded with the iPhone 5 making the devices ability to connect much stronger.
