10 Smart Tips for Photoshop Users
I think all of you will be aware of Adobe Photoshop software ?
Most of you might know about it but did not know how to fully utilize it or use it. Well this is the problem that is faced by most of the people as it is said that “Photoshop is an easy tool to use but a difficult one to master” so here in this article there are some useful tips that you can use to be a master while using Photoshop and can make your task a little bit faster.
What is a Photoshop ?
Photoshop simply is an image editing software that allows user to edit images by providing various options like crop, correct colour on digital photos and is preferred by professional photographers and graphic designers and is manufactured by Adobe Systems Inc.
10 Important Photoshop tips :
1. Bird’s Eye View
When zoomed in close, hold down H and drag in the image to instantly dart out to full screen then jump back to another area.
2. Quick full Layer Masks
If you want to hide everything on the layer then just Alt-click on the Layer Mask icon
3. Colour Code Layer
To organise your Layers Panel, you can use colour coding . Just right-click over a layer’s eye icon to quickly get access of 8 colour code choices.
4. Close all images
If you want to close all of your documents at the same time, Shift-click any image window’s close icon.
5. View one layer
While working with multiple layers if you want to view one layer on its own , you simply need to hold down Alt and click the Eye icon of a layer to make every other layer invisible rather than hiding all the others manually. If you need to reveal them again, just hold down Alt and click again.
6. Quick copy
To make a quick copy in photoshop of anything, just hold down Alt and drag a mask, style or layer to quickly duplicate it.
7. Convert the Background
To convert the background, just double-click the Background Layer and hit OK to convert it to an editable layer.
8. Move layers up or down
In photoshop , you have the freedom to move layers up or down the stack in the Layers Panel while watching the image change. You just need to hold down Cmd/Ctrl and press ] or [. Add in Shift to move a layer right to the top or bottom.
9. Select similar layers
If you want to select all layers of a similar kind, then highlight one of them and then go to Select->Similar Layers.
10. Change Opacity
If you are not using painting tool, you can change layer Opacity simply by pressing a number key. Hit 1 for 10%, 5 for 50%,and 0 for 100%.
