<p>The use of multi-browser add-ons are very common now a days.Most of these multi-browser add-ons are wonderful to work with and add great functionality to any browser they are added to.</p>
<p>One such add-on is Cooliris (works for both Firefox and Google Chrome’s) that creates an amazing 3D wall of the images and video on a site and presents it to you.</p>
<p> <span id="more-1167"></span>
<p>Cooliris is&#160; simply the fastest and most stunning way to browse photos and videos from the Web or your desktop. Effortlessly scroll an infinite &quot;3D Wall&quot; of your content without having to click page to page, whether you&#8217;e on Facebook, Google Images, YouTube, Flickr, Picasa, Kodak Gallery, or any supported site. Or channel surf the latest news, TV episodes, movies, and music videos all from within Cooliris.</p>
<h4>&#160;</h4>
<p>The new Cooliris 3D Wall is now viewable in fullscreen mode or your browser tab.</p>
<ul>
<li>Easily jump between Cooliris and other tabs. </li>
<li>Show off your 3D Wall by sharing its URL. </li>
<li>Bookmark 3D views you want to revisit. </li>
<li>Enjoy MySpace as well as Facebook. </li>
<li>Jump freely among Flickr sets and pools. </li>
</ul>
<p>You will only be able to see a limited number of pictures; to see rest of the results you will need to click on a link and turn the page. <br />To activate Cooliris we click on its icon in the address bar (encircled in the image above). A 3D wall will be generated in a new tab which looks like this:</p>
<p><img height="400" alt="" src="http://cdn2.onetipaday.com/wp-content/uploads/pictures/2010/01/cooliris.jpg" width="561" /></p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>This wall can be dragged with the mouse pointer. All results can be viewed simply by dragging the wall:</p>

		</div>
<p>We live in a big world with many great countries, many great sites, and many great attractions. However, work sometimes put us in a place where the greatest attraction is the time clock.</p>
<p>If you are working in an environment that uses Windows 7, you can still see some of the coolest sites right there from your desktop. To do this, you will need to unlock Windows 7’s hidden themes.</p>
<p>You may have noticed that Windows 7 has a default country theme. For example, the Windows 7 that I bought has a United States theme listed under Aero Themes. But, it also has several other country themes stored in hidden files. Here is how you can access them.</p>
<p> <span id="more-1083"></span>
<p><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image13.png"  rel="nofollow"><img style="border-right-width: 0px; display: inline; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image_thumb13.png" width="554" height="276" /></a></p>
<p>Start by opening up Windows Explorer. Once opened, look for the <strong>Organize</strong> button located in the upper left side of the window on the top toolbar.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image14.png"  rel="nofollow"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image_thumb14.png" width="536" height="265" /></a> </p>
<p align="justify">Click the <strong>Organize</strong> button and select <strong>Folder and search options</strong> from the drop down menu. This should open up the Folder Options window. Click the <strong>View</strong> tab. Under the section labeled <strong>Advanced settings</strong>, look for the value <strong>Show hidden files, folders, and drivers </strong>and select it.</p>
<p align="justify">Next, look for the value <strong>Hide protected operating</strong> and uncheck it. If prompted with a popup window click <strong>Yes</strong>, than click the <strong>OK</strong> button.</p>
<p align="justify"><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image15.png"  rel="nofollow"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image_thumb15.png" width="546" height="661" /></a> </p>
<p align="justify">Browse to the path <strong>Windows\Globalization\MCT</strong>. Upon doing so, you should see five <strong>MCT-</strong> folders. Each folder represents a different country. Open up a folder of your choice, and open up the <strong>Theme</strong> folder located inside the according country folder.</p>
<p align="justify">You should see that country’s theme as AU, CA, GB, US, ZA, etc… Double click the theme to activate it and add it to your Windows 7 themes library.</p>
<p align="justify"><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image16.png"  rel="nofollow"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image_thumb16.png" width="536" height="382" /></a></p>
<p align="justify">Active any or all themes that you would like to install by clicking the according theme files via the MCT folders. After you have checked out the new themes, go ahead and change the Globalization settings back for Windows.</p>
<p align="justify">Launch Windows Explorer. Click the <strong>Organize</strong> tab and select <strong>Folder and search options</strong> from the drop down menu. Click the view tab and reselect <strong>Don’t show hidden files, folders, and themes</strong>. Also reselect <strong>Hide protected operating system files</strong>. Click the <strong>OK</strong> button.</p>
<p align="justify">That’s all there is to it. You should now have several new country themes available in your Windows 7 themes library. <strong>Right-click</strong> on your desktop and select <strong>personalize</strong>. You should now see your new themes listed.</p>
<p align="justify"><a href="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image17.png"  rel="nofollow"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image_thumb17.png" width="512" height="214" /></a>&#160;</p>
<p align="justify">Want to check out some more themes that Microsoft has released? Head on over to <a href="http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/personalize" rel="nofollow">this page</a>. Just find a theme you like and click the download button next to that theme.</p>
<p align="justify"><a href="http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/personalize"  target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="image" border="0" alt="image" src="http://www.techstroke.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/image18.png" width="539" height="419" /></a></p>

<p>In a corporate environment, the loss of a device&#160; is a major ordeal. Apple has touted the MobileMe remote wiping capabilities, but what if you don’t use MobileMe?</p>
<p>If you are in a corporate environment, you probably connect to an exchange server for mail most of the times. Using OWA (Outlook Web Access) you can remotely wipe your lost or stolen iPhone/iPod touch and breath easy knowing your data is safe. </p>
<p>Source: The Apple Blog</p>
<p> <span id="more-1051"></span>
<p>This all relies on using the Exchange email push functionality in the iPhone OS</p>
<p>First thing all you have to do is access your company’s web mail using OWA (Outlook Web Access)</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<ol>
<li>After you successfully login, click on the <strong>Options</strong> button in the top right.       <br /><img title="Options button" alt="" src="http://gigapple.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/screen-shot-2010-01-25-at-10-39-39-am.png?w=461&amp;h=121" width="461" height="121" /> </li>
<li>Now click on the <strong>Mobile Devices</strong> option in the left-hand menu.       <br /><img title="Mobile Devices &#13;&#10;menu" alt="" src="http://gigapple.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/screen-shot-2010-01-25-at-10-40-07-am.png?w=192&amp;h=372" width="192" height="372" /> </li>
<li>You should now see your iPhone or iPod touch device listed. Click the radio button next to your device and the click <strong>Wipe All Data from Device…</strong> <br /><img title="Wipe Data &#13;&#10;menu" alt="" src="http://gigapple.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/screen-shot-2010-01-25-at-10-40-24-am.png?w=570&amp;h=373" width="570" height="373" /> </li>
<li>You will get a confirmation dialog to confirm you really want to do this. After you confirm, the Status will change to <strong>Pending Wipe</strong>.       <br /><img title="Confirmation &#13;&#10;Dialog" alt="" src="http://gigapple.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/screen-shot-2010-01-25-at-11-09-34-am.png?w=500&amp;h=248" width="500" height="248" /> </li>
<li>The next time your iPhone/iPod touch has an internet connection and checks in with Exchange, a secure wipe is initiated. This is what the screen looks like to the user. <br /><img title="Remotewipe &#13;&#10;Screen" alt="" src="http://gigapple.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/iphone_remotewipe_20080711-copy.jpg?w=132&amp;h=228" width="132" height="228" /> </li>
<li>After the wipe has been started, the status for the device in OWA will change to <strong>Wipe Successful</strong> and you can remove the device from the list. </li>
</ol>
<ol>Please note that it will take about an hour to wipe the device so you can’t use it during that time</ol>
<p> After the wipe, you can restore from a backup in iTunes. Since this is done in OWA, you don’t even have to bother about&#160; your Network Admin.</p>
