The recently announced smartphone from Samsung, Galaxy S3 exploded into flames when an unlucky customer placed it in a car mount. The international version of Galaxy S3 burnt with white flames and ended up with a banging noise. Samsung has issued a statement regarding the same, on it official blog, today.
As reported by Engadget, the screen of Galaxy S3 wasn’t affected at all, it remained intact during the whole burning event while the reception (radio signal) suffered a major loss. The smartphone was sent to a repair house for full investigation. This is not the first time that we are seeing a smartphone meltdown, but seeing Galaxy S3 is really shocking. We can’t say anything it might be due to a manufacturing defect or mishandling of the product.
