LG unveiled its first ever Firefox OS smartphone on Wednesday (23rd October 2013) Fireweb. The Firefox Operating System powered Fireweb smartphone flaunts a 4-inch screen with 480 x 320 display resolution and 5MP autofocus and LED-enabled camera. We had earlier seen Firefox OS on ZTE smartphones, but the LG Fireweb is first of the kind Firefox OS smartphone. The Fireweb will first be sold in Brazilian markets via local carrier Telefonica.

Telefónica announced that Vivo will sell the new LG Fireweb and Alcatel One Touch Fire Firefox OS phones in Brazil, starting today. Telefónica also announced that they will launch Firefox OS phones soon in Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
