3G Tablet OlivePad VT-100 In India Disclosed by Olive Telecom

Olive Telecom has launched India’s first 3G tablet  OlivePad VT-100. This tablet 3G network doubles up as a smartphone that allows users to make voice and video calls. The tablet runs on Google’s Android Operating System and supports 3.5G HSUPA, Wi-fi, Bluetooth and high speed wireless broadband (courtesy Tata Indicom).The device was unveiled in New Delhi by Arun Khanna, chairman, Olive Telecom, David Hind, chief executive officer, Olive Telecom, Americas and Artem Orange, CEO, Olive Telecom.

OlivePad VT-100 Launched in India

It has a 7″ touchscreen with dual cameras – a 3 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. The primary use of the OlivePad will be that as a touch notebook for browsing, multimedia, instant messaging and social networking. It can also be used as an e-book reader, TV and gaming console. GPS, flash support and mini USB port are some of its other exciting features.

The OlivePAD is priced between Rs 22,000 and Rs 25,000 and comes with a 32GB memory card.
